Cookies and browser storage

HouseGas.com asks whether you want to allow Analytics and Advertising. Essential browser storage supports search return, country suggestions and language selection. Google Analytics loads only if you allow Analytics. Google AdSense loads on pages with ads only if you allow Advertising. Your HouseGas choice lasts 90 days, then we ask again. You can reopen the choices using Cookie settings in the footer. In some regions Google may separately ask for advertising consent through its own message.

You can clear temporary search and country state by closing the browser session or clearing site data. You can change your saved language in the header. The former saved-country preference is no longer used and is removed when you visit the updated site. Withdrawing a HouseGas choice stops future Google script loading and removes the matching first-party Google cookies we can identify; Google’s own separate consent and third-party storage may need to be managed through Google’s message or your browser.
External services
Location suggestions use Photon after you enter enough text. HouseGas pages may contact ipwho.is to suggest your country and German, Dutch, French or Spanish language from your public IP. You can change the language in the header and the country in search. Some pages load images from Unsplash, supplier, manufacturer or retailer sites, including product card images. After your choice, pages may load Google Analytics and pages with ads may load Google AdSense. These requests may expose your IP address and browser information to those services, which have their own storage practices. See our privacy notice and Google’s advertising information for details.
