Home LPG

Find and understand LPG supply for heating, cooking, hot water and other household uses.

Choose cylinders or a bulk tank

Homes may receive LPG in exchange cylinders or in a fixed bulk tank. The practical choice depends on which appliances use gas, expected consumption, available space and what local suppliers can deliver. Ask who owns the cylinders or tank, whether a rental or standing charge applies, and who is responsible for inspections and maintenance.

Compare the delivery arrangement

Suppliers may offer scheduled deliveries, customer-requested orders or automatic replenishment. If you rely on LPG for heating or hot water, ask how they handle a low tank, missed delivery or poor road access. For bottles, check the sizes and connection type that suit your appliances; do not assume every bottle can be exchanged with every supplier.

Before you choose a supplier

Give the supplier your full address, tell them whether you already have a tank or cylinders, and describe the appliances and expected use. Request a quote covering fuel, delivery, equipment, installation and any recurring charges. Confirm the service area and the work a qualified installer must perform.
